Five Sessions Orthodontic Seminar
(Session I Starts Feb 18-19-2023) (Sign Up Today)
Physiologically balanced occlusion is the foundation for the proper function of the oral apparatus and health. Many opinions are different on how well the patients adapted to their physiologic bite or habitual bite. When patients cannot adapt to their physiologic bite or habitual bite, they suffer from malocclusion? The answer can be yes or no because the risk factors vary and are affected by patients’ internal and external influences like genetics, personalities, stress, and economics.

Central Indiana Study Club, a sectional study club of the International Association for Orthodontics, offers orthodontic courses for practitioners who want to add orthodontics to their expertise. Orthodontics is more than just aligning teeth. Adding orthodontic treatment to the general dentistry repertoire can increase patient satisfaction, improve patient health, and broaden your practice income.

Diagnosis and treatment of TMD-CFP problems can be confusing and opinionated. Many treatments are based mostly on very subjective protocols and not on objective science. As a result, many TMD-CFP treatment protocols may harm more than good. There are several reasons for the misconception and confusion. Of the many reasons, one major misdiagnosis is that the TM Joint itself is not readily visible in the routine dental radiograph. Current radiology makes diagnosis more accurate. This lecture series will clarify the common misconceptions encounter in TMD-CFP. The series will also cover the risk factors encompassing the nutritional, physical, emotional, and biochemical. After the course, the evidence-based protocol will successfully improve the TMD-CFP patients’ care. We recommend signing up early because the seating is limited.
